White House Football- God’s land

Porter is putting a positive spin on a bad situation. It is a classy move by a man with class.  He loves the program he has built so much that he wants to make the best out of a touchy situation.  I tend to agree with those who think that this was a forceful move and put into place way before everyone found out.  A lot of times when a change comes at the top level of management, the understudies strike while the iron is hot.  Much to be seen if the "old guard" in BDP country will embrace and come to rescue the new guy that follows Porter when he needs help for this and that!

Unfortunately, too much of this last few years around the area! Gallatin, Gordonsville,Westy, now White House! Those are just off top of my head, sure it is happening all over the state and that is why you have seen such a large turnover of coaches the last couple years! It is sad to see the lack of loyalty in high school athletics these days!Good thing about TCHS, everyone knows who must be kept happy and that his is the only opinion that matters! Good and bad I guess!

GO JACKETS!

If he  could get his son to come home, that job would be locked down for 20 years till his son was ready. LOL

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
