Some really good teams are not going to get out of 1st round and 2 very good teams will be out at the semi's.  Really tough region !  Good luck to those teams playing !

Gibson County over UC in a running clock

Gleason over Trenton by 3

Greenfield over Madison in a running clock

TCA over Dresden by 5

I'm not looking for any upsets tonight. Dresden has the best chance at an upset. On a neutral court  like at UTM i'd take Dresden but not in the TCA gym.  Gleason at home swings the odds with Trenton, I'll take the Gleason coaches over most coaches at tournament time.

I think Stephenson is one of the best coaches in the state regardless of class - he takes marginal talent and competes with the best of them. I could see Peabody keeping it close if they hit shots, but I think Gleason wins.

I haven’t seen Dresden since they came to Gibson earlier in the season. I’m sure they got better throughout the season, but I have a hard time seeing them being able to handle TCA’s size. If TCA runs that 2-3 zone with all of that size, and you’re not hitting the outside shot, it could be a long night. I’ll roll with TCA there by 5-10 in a low scoring game.

Gibson and Greenfield shouldn’t have too many problems in their games.

Obviously you are not familiar with the GC/UC series. They were in our district for a few years and it is always a tough game. Throw the records out the window in this game. I think we will win but it won't be easy I will assure you. Greenfield will have a running clock IMO. Gleason and TCA I will take less than 6 points.

I like Greenfield,Gleason,TCA,and GC. In my opinion that’s 4 of the top 6 teams in the state.

Madison at Greenfield on 104.9
Peabody at Gleason on 95.1
Dresden at TCA on 101.3
Union City at Gibson Co. on 105.7

I think Gleason's zone will give Peabody trouble. Unless Gleason just has a bad game I don't see them losing.
