Never too early...AA Predictions 2019-2020

South Gibson had the right plan vs Westview and got plenty of good looks but didnt capitlaize. Then they started throwing the ball away for no reason. They were without #3 which hurt them defensively, IMO, and they looked terrified when they saw the name WESTVIEW on the front of those uniforms.

Crockett had Dyersburg on the ropes but they couldnt pull it off. Pankey missed a lot of layups and had a couple of costly turnovers.

Region 7AA is wide open if you ask me. 14AA plays tonight, should be interesting

Going to be hard for Westview to keep beating Dyersburg, IMO. South Side I predict will beat Chester County by 8 and McNairy over Scott’s Hill by 10.

I'm not sure I see Dyersburg beating Westview this season... the first time they played (without Callins) it was a close game that Westview led start to finish. The second game was controlled by Westview from start to finish. I'm not sure Dyersburg has enough outside of Newsome and KK to be able to beat Westview. Westview is well coached, fundamentally sound, and has a kid that can go get a bucket whenever she wants to.

Just went and looked.

Chester beat SS by 1 and loss to SS by 15

Scotts Hill loss to McNairy, by 14 and 36

You have those margins fairly close. Do you think the neutral site helps out? Whats you analysis?

I got SS by 20 and McNairy by as many as they want if the Warren stays on the block and the guards are making shots.

Do know Scott’s Hill and Chester County are hit and miss. South Side and McNairy have been off a while. I know Crockett played Dyersburg tough. Never know. I agree a little on the conservative side. Never really know. Tournament time some coaches seem to play slower too a lot of times.

Ready to see the results

Upperman vs Macon County for the gold ball.

That depends on the Regional and District Tournaments if either lose tonight then that would probably make a 1-3 elimination game, and I don’t know if Upperman or Macon could go to Meigs and win. Meigs lost in OT to Upperman earlier this year.

They didn’t lose. So Meigs will face one of them. Now I do know if Meigs is able to host then they have a chance however if they travel they don’t. Meigs County is no slouch that’s for sure but just don’t think they have the horses to beat one of these two teams this year.

Reason I said it it is just hard to beat a good team 4 times. Westview gets out of West TN they will have a good chance to win it all.

Meigs only beat Central by 7 their last meeting. Central has gotten beat by some average to way below average East TN teams. Don’t see them knocking off the states two favorites for a gold ball for sure.

Central is Meigs biggest rival and those games will always be close, just like Macon and Upperman. I haven’t seen Macon this year but I have seen Upperman, and if Meigs takes care of business and wins the region, it will be hard for Upperman to come to Meigs and win. Meigs is a hard place to come and get a win. Bradley Central is the best team I have seen in a long time and Meigs took them to OT just a few weeks a go at home, but a lot of ball to play before we can really talk about it.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
