Any and all of our transfers are legal as well as Greenbacks.  All this mess isn’t doing any of us any good.  I know for a fact that GB’s are indeed legal with bonafide address changes.  SP’s (and I still only count 2 which is 1 lineman and 1 back.  The honest difference between ours and GB’s is like Bass has been saying...ours do good to even start for a solid 1A team such as us, but GB’s tend to come from Solid 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A solid teams that if are D1, D2, or even D3 calibur they are still wayyyyyy more than anything we put on the field.  We are a SOLID 1A team that can compete with most 2A and 3A teams every so often.  If GB keeps growing and getting kids from these bigger schools “simply” based on location and the fact they have a new school (which btw we may NEVER get, only improvements), then in the next 5 years they will be playing in 2A or possibly 3A.  Just saying.  Let’s quit with the mess and move on

How are you Mike. Good to see you back on the boards. Have sent many prayers for you friend.

Currently here at the transfer championship game we are waiting the extra point. If SP gets this one they will go into the half leading 7-4. This could be a bit much for the Cherokees to overcome but I wouldn’t count Coach Ryan our just yet. He may have one of them Bouche boys coming in via airboat during the half. Anyway folks..stay tuned for an exciting 2nd half. Now a word from our sponsors.

Now that’s funny...:roflol:

Thanks buddy.  I look a little better on the outside but not so much on the inside.  This incurable illness has taken its toll on me as I’ve gotten older.  I will make it.  I will be fine.  Thank you, and don’t stop praying.

That was the intention since it’s all one big joke. Wish y’all the best of luck. Y’all should have a very solid team this year. :thumb:

I’ve found a few threads just absolutely hilarious! We will be a solid 1A team and hopefully the schedule will help come playoff time. As usual, hope everyone stays healthy!

Out of the 6 transfers South pitt. Has to date how many do you all think will start?

Helmet boy I garuntee Grider doesnt have six transfers or he would have listed them if they were good in my Murphy Fair book.  I garuntee if we got the transfers that Ryan man got they would start on Griders team.  I garuntee you that is why it was a planned job.  Your transfers just so happened to be a huge need.  You and o&b didnt even no your backup passers name, just he was this Roberts boy. You never did answer my question.  Just how big an ole boy are ya?. You think im joking but im not.

I heard that Childress man was snooping around that Pirate program.  How do you get 6 transfers in 1 year end not be cheating.  They all came for academic purposes.

How do you get a kid to come from Maryville to a tiny 1A program?

    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
