Red Rebels
I'll get it started. Not really a comment.
BIGPURPLEMACHINE
The coaches should have known better. I hope they don’t claim ignorance. It is their job to know the rules and follow them. I think the punishment has precedence and is merited. Hopefully they move past this and get things together.

From my point of view, a simple check of the tssaa calendar would have prevented this from happening. If I understand things correctly, the punishment will be issued during the 2020 season. In my opinion, forfeiting a week of practice should happen this season as the infraction occurred this season. Southtowner
BPM, you've been spending too much time trying to keep Bassy in line and forgot to be watching your own back yard.

Jmo I agree with you. However precedent set by the TSSAA in other such cases has usually been to issue the punishment for the following season.

My back yard for the last 2 and a half weeks has been Florida. Toying with bass just to amuse myself.

ItsAlwaysSunnyInAtwood
It is strange how the TSSAA enforces punishment the following year. Hypothetically a coach could leave to avoid the ramifications. Not at all am I saying that's the case here though
