Not really a surprise. I was however surprised to see some of the teams even make this list and Covington at #8.

Preseason poles are just an educated guess IMO.  I am perfectly OK with Peabody being number 1. They are champs and will stay number 1 till someone beats them.

I don't think that way at all... If I'm going to put together a list of any sort, it will be current, and I'll leave last year in last year. This whole thing is a complete cop-out anyway... the top four play each other in week one, and the losers will drop spots regardless of the showing they make. Looks like a convenient way to throw something out there until teams sort out this list on their own.

My top 6 would look like this. 

1 Henry Co

2 Haywood Co

3 Covington 

4 Trenton

5 Dyersburg 

6 Huntingdung

No disrespect but I think Huntingdon could be higher than the Tide but that’s just a guess. Lake County should be mentioned also with all the Hype they better be good.

are you confused ?  It’s a preseason poll.  It’s based off last year.  Why would Huntingdon be higher than Peabody ?  They went out in what the semis ?   We won the state championship
