Imo the Powell game could have gone either way. Few less penalties from either team and that game would have looked completely different. Where's the screens!?!? Id also like to see the handoff between Gregg and Blood cleaned up. Not sure if it was a timing thing or hesitation in the reads. I feel bad for the team that allows Greeneville to pass the ball. All in all I was impressed with Gregg and think the Greene will be just fine.

Imo the blocking for the screen wasn’t great. Screens this year wont do as well this season

Batman —- I do know (lol)

I hope we are running wild Friday night with speed getting into open spaces.I think our staff is trying to get this team to where they can line up and plow it forward as well like when Youngblood had that long run up the middle last week.It would suck to be one yard away from another championship and not be able to get a push to win.We are loaded with talented players all over the field and I think it's just a matter of time and this team will be very tough to deal with.

Just got back from Nathan Hale Stadium.    The grounds crew is doing some thing special to welcome our Greeneville friends tomorrow night.....   The field turf has been prepared with a lovely shade of GREEN!   Welcome to GRAY!

I would have love to seen it but will not be able to.There isn't near the smack talk for this game because many folks in Greeneville know this will be a very tough road game but also a great chance to let some of our Devils grow up against a fine Boone team.Hope it's a well played game with a good bunch of refs that are not even noticed this week.

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
