The very chippy game we have to stop the personal fouls even though Macon is a dirty team it's starting to be too much I hope next year is last time Macon appears on TC schedule. The turnover wasn't a big deal to me, of course, you don't want to have turnovers but they were on 4th down and I was happy that we attempted a few passes tonight.

terrible attitude.

macon isn’t a “dirty team” it’s called a “heated rivalry”

it’s what separates football from every other sport and it’s why the girls and the soft boys don’t play.

hoping they aren’t on the schedule next year is a night chicken attitude.

What a chippy game, the jackets had 8 penalties for 110 yards, Macon had 117 yards of offense and 9 first downs, 6 of their first downs were due to personal fouls or unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, but the jackets were not the instigator they were the retaliatory and that’s why we were flagged, offense looked decent nice pass play with Hicks to Claiborne for 6. Would have liked to have seen a TD on that first drive of the 2nd half, the jackets held the ball for over 8 and half minutes on that drive and stalled at the 9. But that drive really deadened the game. Game flipped on Xavian Harper’s 71 yard scoop and score in 1st quarter.

The DOS must have been on the field cussing MC players last night to solicit this response.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
