BarneySox2007
Jebus, how did Fulton manage to lose to Karns. Their the armpit of Knox County Football like Heritage is in Blount County. Never though I would see the day Fulton would be the worst team in Knoxville. Is this a sign that it's the end of time with 90 degree weather in October and Fulton hitting the bottom. What's next.

Bigdog4030
If Fulton had any nuts they turn Powell in for recruiting

If you have knowledge of recruiting then by all means call the TSSAA office in Hermitage. Otherwise, your whining is getting really old. 1
REBELRON
Hard to believe Fulton is 0 4. Last year besides Alcoa and Oakland Fulton ga e Maryville their toughest game.

If we keep making hambone mistakes every game like we have against Bearden, Alcoa and Farragut there's always that chance. Really starting to worry about McMinn and Bradley if those mistakes continue. If Farragut hadn't of fumbled with 6 minutes to go and we got a 2 score lead I'm not sure we would have won the other night.

While I am all for giving kids a choice where they want to go to school, the fact that both of Powell's FR wideouts are Fulton kids is a little suspicious. And Freshmen is the key word. As long as a student starts his/her freshman year at a school he or she is eligible to play sports, no matter where that school is in relation to his/her home. So, has it been ok for all of those out of zone kids to go to Fulton for all of these years? And I am not in any way pointing fingers at Fulton for doing anything illegal. They simply took advantage of the magnet school status Knox County gave them. Same thing with Powell and every other school in Knox County. They all have out of zone kids who play sports and they use the transfer policies to allow them to enroll.

I understand the rule, but it is amazing that Josh goes to Powell, and then all of those players end up at Powell. As I said, I am all for school choice for any reason. Fulton and others have taken advantage of and broken these rules for years, so I don't feel sorry for them in the slightest. Powell is just the latest.
