That wasn't the point Pinocchio007.  Greeneville has never ran from competition and i would hope a School the size of Oakland (over 2,100 students) and Greeneville (900 Students) would win more times

They’ve been flying under the radar to the rest of the state, but everybody on this side knew this matchup was inevitable. They are definitely legit. Gonna be a great game

You should have your taste buds checked if you're talking about the restaurants. But I get what your saying. You're saying Elizabethton and Dobyns-Bennett are overrated. But what is a rating anyway. A rating means nothing to any team in any sport at any time. If "people" haven't figured that out by now then I don't know what to say. I guess there's 8 teams left in each division and a "rating" is not going to win or lose a single game.

There was a Greeneville guy who came into the Central vs Whitehaven thread and made the comment that Whitehaven has a CAKEWALK until the championship game ... I knew from that statement alone that he was from the East side of the state.

Honestly, no I don’t think so. I think you have to make Maryville make mistakes.  The only weakness I see with Maryville is we turn the ball over too much. I think there has only been 1 game with no turnovers. The defense has stepped up big time when we have put ourselves in bad positions with turnovers. I think DB will have to capitalize on a Maryville turnover to win.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
