We have alot more depth this year compared to last two years. Some younger kids have grown into their rows now and we had 3 kids that wasn't here last year move in. They all are offensive and defensive linemen. Which helped LC out tremendously. The kid from Covington and the kid from Dresden helped in so many ways.

So you talk about Memphis teams and kids transferring in but to you get 3 kids to move and play for Lake county this year. Wow seem like y’all need to get investigated also.

LC has more depth on the line this year than we ever had. They rotate defensive linemen every 2 plays. We play 8 different linemen so that is pretty good depth for a 1A school.

Lake Co has a good-looking defensive line. After seeing both teams, you can't judge crap on hudl, the Falcons are bigger and move pretty well. Mustangs noseguard might weigh 165 lbs. Mustangs I think are quite a bit quicker, they penetrate very well and pressure the QB well, have a bunch of sacks. Huntingdons front 7 are faster than Lake Co but much smaller.

Call them for what, I’m stating what one of your dumb fan posted about having kids come from other schools.  Take that up with him dude.

    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
    • If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
    • I say over as well. Barney, regarding the move to 4A, will the cross-town blowhards move up as well??
