edwardblake
I like Meigs in this one. That QB is a dynamo. I think South Greene will play their hearts out but that Meigs QB is something else. Every round at this point is whoever wants it most though. I hope coach Fitzgerald stays there but I know the offers and dollars will come his way again. I would in no way call it rebuilding. Learning to play without Swafford will be a big challenge. Tiger2
I am tired of all of this talk about next season. They will be fine. I believe this team has a common goal and has worked extremely hard to get where they are. I don't see any let downs in the near future. Injuries have hurt Meigs chances the last two years to reach that goal and I think being that close has pushed them even more. I don't know how healthy Swafford is but watching him play the last several years I would say it would take something major to keep him out and from achieving the goal the team has set. He is a great athlete and almost impossible to contain on offense and defense. The newspaper also said Meigs is expected to have their number 1 receiver back who happens to be Swafford's favorite target the past three years. I don't know how healthy he is or how much he can contribute after missing nearly the entire season but if he is available I would bet a couple of long balls are sure to find their way into his hands. He also has a great team around him that feeds off of him. I think they will step up and do more than their part allowing Meigs to limit his touches and playing time this week if needed. powerp
I don't know who South Greene is but their in trouble. Swafford leads the Tigers to victory.

That's the rebuilding part I referenced. Meigs won't fall apart because he's not there and as someone said there's plenty enough talent returning to compete for the region with just a serviceable qb. Tiger2
Meigs will be much better than average next year. The backup QB is a lot better than serviceable. That is why Meigs will be alright this game and the next if Swafford needs some time to heal.
