Looking forward to the game tomorrow night.  Looks like It's gonna be wet/sloppy but hopefully the rain is gone by game time, which will definitely make a difference in the size of the crowd. I

Touché. But if we’re being honest, Dyer is the product of a weak schedule and no one in the first two weeks of the playoffs.  Region 8 is not very good. Dyer gets rolled again. Yes, Dyer is playing next week, but seriously...

When will these kids get some respect? A bunch of older men sitting behind screens trying to downplay the accomplishment of this team. Keep pretending that Dyer county didn’t beat multiple playoff teams that got to the 2 and 3 rounds this season. Keep downplaying the wins vs two VERY good and athletic Memphis teams. They feed off of being counted out.

Given, Dyer County has had a phenomenal year but now they are about to play Henry County (again) who has a defense that can keep them out of the end zone and has with multiple RBs who can take it to the house. HC will run it and pound it and if the box gets loaded, HC will still run it. Then Damron will just throw it right over that defense. It one of the best times of year when these guys make it to the quarterfinals and knowing there’s a state championship birth within their grasp. It’s hard not to be confident in the Patriots. They’ll roll them Choctaws next friday

The Beech schedule was just as bad and don't even act like they play a tough schedule. Their region is a joke and it obviously showed in the playoffs! Dyer Co is playing next week and guess who isn't

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
