I heard they will be interviewing next week so if he is serious then his name should be in the hat.

I would be very surprised if he took it, but I have a good idea of who it is that is being rumored on here. It just seems like a less-than-lateral move in just about every way. Why do that?

Completely agree but you never know what motivates these coaches.  Another example is there a rumor that another region coach may be a finalist for the Siegel job.  I would think where he is now is a much better situation.  Of course that is all rumor I have nothing factual to confirm he has even applied.  Should be interesting to say the least.  I would love to have any of these coaches here on the Hill.   SG22 may have much more accurate info on that rumor

No doubt that where he is at right now is in a better place than Siegel, but Siegel offers a better chance long-term. In my opinion, he's reached the ceiling of what is possible at his current job

I heard if they hire one of the applicants at FC the twins and 2 others are gone?

it is a coach with no Head Coaching experience from Rutherford County.

hate to see this class break up.  lots of talent

Who knows. They are used to losing and poor leadership there.  Maybe the RC guy will turn it around but to let a parent use his kids as pawns is just simply wrong on so many levels.

Agreed. Don't care how talented a kid is, a program is better off with parents like this

The only reason this job is viable is because of a few athletes.  That will be gone soon.

Tomorrow is a half school day for many county schools with Friday being a day off for students, so I hear that’s when some of the candidates will be able to interview. It should be an interesting couple of days. I don’t think it’s guaratneed to be a good ole boy hire just yet.

Sometimes giving a young guy a chance to take the reigns end up with championships. theres a lot more upside with young first time head coaches. but also a much lower floor. sounds like cunningham could be Franklin Countys lottery ticket
