jacketpharmer
Swafford had 23 carries for 77yds. That’s under 3.5 per carry. TC defense did a good job containing him from hitting the big one. He made the keys plays when he needed to make them. Evenly matched teams with great front 7 play from both. talked to the Oneida coach and he didn’t think anyone could hold #19 under 100 yds in the ground Edited November 30, 2019 by jacketpharmer
Meeru
Great game! Credit Both teams with putting on a show. I can’t believe the outcome though. To Trousdale fans- thank you for your comments and attitude. The reason your tradition is so strong is you don’t whine. Proud of Meigs and Meigs fans
tcjacket13
It’s ironic the last time the jackets lost a semifinal game, 2002 14-13 to Fulton, fulton went for 2 and questionable got it, 2 pt plays are the haunted nightmares to many jackets. Yea they made 1 more play but from what i saw and heard it looked like 2 evenly matched teams and I would guess if we replayed this game 10 times it would be 5-5. Meigs go surf the Tide to the Gold! No doubt they were evenly matched. The lack of kicking game became an advantage for Meigs tonight. TC couldn’t stop the heavy package and that proved to be the difference
FairWeatherFan
wow looks like me and my partner chose the wrong game. I told him Alcoa had it in the bag but he just had to go see their facilities. Congrats to Meigs. 16 minutes ago, mancoverage said: Mancoverage sez: Were you balling after your last game, RTD? Even though I would take Watertown defense over Meigs and Oneida any day better coach defense. TC is ranked 3rd in state in all classification in the state. TC starting defense has given up around 23points all year In regular season only 26 in the playoffs.Oneida and Meigs defense isn't in same category as TC . Meigs gave up how many yo a Oneida team that TC would beat by at least 3 TD’s. TC did have a really good defense, but Meigs proved that they have one just as good. That was a good game by both teams. Biggest run that he had was when he scooped up the punt and made a great run. I personally though Meigs didn’t use his arm near enough

It was a great effort from both teams. The second half of the game was so much different than the first. Was exciting and anyones ballgame till the end. Congratulations for the heart, grit, and determination shown by both teams. After the first half I thought whomever scores first wins. But both teams mad adjustments and that was a great game. I told the Meigs kids congrats now go beat Peabody and of of Meigs lineman said we will beat Peabody for TC. I hope you’ll get that gold ball. Looking at Meigs is like seeing a mirror image of TC a small town where football is life and we’re you all about pounding that ball and playing defense. Swafford was just to much this year and he has hit that weight room like crazy since last year. Congrats Yeti you’ll enjoy this experience next Saturday I will be pulling for Meigs next Saturday. Much easier to play against that style of offense in my opinion.
