Good it's settled now we can get our reservations for Cookeville.

One last thing. I was impressed with TC band crowd and fan support. They brought it

Appreciate that we (TC) pride ourselves on traveling well and giving our boys the support that they deserve. Meigs away side stands may not be the best but you feel close to the action with great sightlines. I think the Meigs field is one of my favorite places to watch a game and plus the Meigs fans we're very nice and seem like good people. I'm a fan of Meigs program from here on out I really enjoyed the atmosphere and experience at Meigs.

At times it seemed like you all had home field advantage with how loud your side got over there. That's the most visitor fans I believe I have ever seen here in Decatur.

Hopefully we can do it again next year at your place

Appreciate the nod man. Since I've been a fan and have kids that have played. This program has come a long way, and in the right direction. Thanks for the respect y'all have shown us, and hope we returned the favor.

We try to bring the creek bank with us where ever we travel. I hope so that way we can break the tie breaker. I know after the first half the concession stand was sold out of food mostly. I know this game was a huge moneymaker for the Meigs program.

You're welcome and yes you'll return the favor. You'll stay on the path you'll on and hopefully, TC does too we can be the Maryville and Oakland of small classifications.

TC made just as much as Meigs tonight. TSSAA made 50% of the gate. It was a great crowd and a great atmosphere and a heck of a headache getting parked and leaving.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
