Trousdale at Meigs: The Rematch to go to Cookeville

Another nail biter for tc. It was a hard fought game from both teams but meigs wanted it more. #7 for tc will be dearly missed and I’m from watertown. I can tell he was the leader of this team not sure how they will be next year without him. Swafford is the truth and I predict will win the gold next Saturday but peabody has some studs.

All in all, what a football game, that fumble in 1st half really hurt, good luck next week @Imthayeti and Meigs. Swafford is best player in 2A no doubt. Go win that Gold Ball!

Just like the obvious fumble by Trousdale, that Swafford recovered.... the refs make the calls that we all have to live with.  It was a great game that could have gone either way.

Yeah both teams lost calls I’d say it was a pretty evenly called game meigs just had the upper hand

Congrats to Meigs, go represent the East in glorious fashion.  The fumble early and then 2 pt plays hurt us. 
 

To any TC players reading, keep your heads up. There are a lot of kids that wished they had the same opportunity. Great Season and one to be proud of! Go Jackets!
