Not bashing, just curious but how in the world has Riverside made it to this point of the playoffs? I watched them come to Wayne county and win but WC was awful this year and I didn't think Riverside was any better. Congratulations on making it but could someone fill me in, where y'all dealing with injuries back then or what? Once again, no bashing intended and congratulations!

Who you picking mustangs or falcons?

Riverside like to run off tackle and to the outside. They will try up the middle also. They run the read option pretty good. But their offense don’t matchup well against the tides defense and there lack of throwing the ball is going to hurt them. They have a good defense line and a pretty good inside linebacker.

I'm still reeling over this game tonight.  I have to do my research on Riverside.  Though it always throws me off to see @38320 posting for Riverside when all I see is the Camden zip code.  I know he teaches there, but still.   I hope for a good game but nothing like what played out tonight.   This was not typical for Peabody.  None of it matters though because we got the W.  Fairley has a long ride home to Memphis singing nananana, nananana, hey hey, goodbye to their football season.    They'll know next time to never count Peabody out no matter the 4th qtr circumstances..... and to never sing that song before the game is officially over.   Though I'll give them credit.  That's the biggest crowd out of Memphis I've ever seen at Walter Kilzer Stadium.   Memphis teams rarely have much support, but I'll give to Fairley because for once we had more than 6 people on the visitor stands for a Memphis team.    At the same time,  I know Riverside might ought to add some additional bleachers because Peabody travels big!   We bring the crowds.

We got to play better.  But I think this is the game that was the game that will propel us to our destiny

Bleachers are small and it’s very very muddy there. Better wear some boots and take some chairs

Good thing I'm off  Thursday and Friday, I'll be there at 5pm if needed.     I'm sure not concerned with Black Friday shopping. haha.  Ought to still be full of turkey and all the fixings anyways. I hope everyone has a lovely holiday with their family and friends.  I know I'm thankful  to be playing another Friday.   Let's remember to be thankful this week for all each of us have.    Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

You are exactly right. We looked horrible. Yes injuries was a factor for awhile but a lot of personal changes has been a big factor. Just a total team effort. Peabody coming in strong. B hard to beat they are as strong as advertised but maybe the panthers still have some magic left

Everyone loves a Cinderella team, in my opinion we win this game, but my hats are off the panthers either way. To make it to this game is hard and tonight showed for both squads.

I believe it will. The young men from riverside have everything to gain and nothing to lose. First time in a long time the Tide has played the Panthers.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
