Meigs was a good team but Peabody is on a different level.  Fairley and Peabody are the 2 best teams in 2a.  Swafforf was amazing.  But we have never let one man best us.  We hit him in the mouth and our D line was much faster.  Our O line dominated and Dickson was clearly the best player on the field.  He was dishng out  headaches.

I’m all for it! Need to replace some key spots, but still will have athletes. Another trip back up here would be excellent.

You have to hit a guy like Swafford in the mouth. After seeing Meigs running attack with Swafford idk if Fairley would’ve been physical enough to tackle him. They probably could’ve gotten the edge on them, but Swafford would make Fairley look silly on the defense... they tried too many arm tackles and you saw today what happens if you tried an arm tackle on him.

Good game for both sides. Peabody was a great team. Much respect. Peabody coach NEEDS his head examined for completely neglecting Dickson in the first half. I get it, Baugus is “Mr. Football” but Dickson was BY FAR the best player on that team.
To Swafford and the rest of the seniors: THANK YOU!! You will go down in Meigs History as giving this County many valuable memories!
