Week 5 - Oak Ridge @ West

I will say this, I thought this West team would take a step back defensively. I admit I was wrong. They get after your tail! They have a ways to go offensively though. They played behind the sticks all night. A recipe for disaster in the future. Oak Ridge just not as good as they should be but give West lots of credit though. Thankful high school football is back.

West held OR to 65 total yards. Yikes.

Just my opinion but I know West made some costly mistakes but at this point in the season they do not impress me. It looks like Central and Powell are a slight notch above.... Huge game to watch Saturday!

Agreed. Mattress was clearly hobbled, and they definitely aren't the same offensively.

Why Lamar even had him out there I’ll never know, especially when you had 7, who is talented as well, and healthy to boot. I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed by any means, but that was kinda boneheaded imo.

Agreed SS. I get that it was close in the 4th qtr, but he had no business being in the game. Poor kid could barely run.

With so much bad I gotta give credit to J.Adams.He plays so hard and has no help upfront.Somebody on D has to step up and help 38,7,33 and 10.

What name for that offense does Gaddis call it.What other team college or high school runs it?And why after you set a school record last week would u switch back to the offense that never does anything vs a good team.

You’re right. He plays his rear off. Not saying the others don’t as well, but he did stand out tonight.

Exactly!! It’s baffles me i just can’t come to any conclusion to why they go back to that washed out scheme
