Get real. This defense isnt stopping anything that gets in front of them. To be honest, the whole team just looks pretty bad. QB has probably 10 picks so far, very inaccurate and always makes the throw way too late. RB's look sloppy which is usually Gallatin's bread and butter. Speaking of butter, butterfingers. That's the best way to describe the defensive tackling. It's horrid this season. I don't know where we have an edge in any game left this year. Winless at home, and have lost the last 4 home games. All in very bad overall efforts. They also cause a ton of undisciplined, self inflicted pre snap penalties that kill drives. Special teams is not too thrilling either.

As you can see, I am very disappointed in the product this coaching staff has put on the field this year.

To all the Green Wave posters, I know this was a very negative review, but is there anything in there you disagree with? I'm just being honest.

One more thing l: I'm honestly getting tired of people making the 6A excuse for the last 3 games. They have played all 6A schools this season so far. Gallatin the school itself has 6A numbers. (I'm not singling you out Mondo, I've just heard it a lot lately, and I just feel it's an excuse for the efforts being put onto the field)

In fact, GHS has more students than 6A schools HHS or SCHS

This team doesn’t have to be this bad. That’s a fact. This all starts at the top. This team reminds me of what is going on over here at Blackman. Undisciplined, and it ain't being demanded. But that’s the kind of guys Watson and Hartsfield are. If they ain’t loaded up with talent that they recruit in then their weaknesses as coaches tend to show.

thegreatone36 you finally see what I was telling you about the defensive side of the ball two weeks ago. I know the game and I can tell you this team is not technically nor fundamentally sound.  Yet, there is supposedly 3 former head coaches on staff—any of them notice the numerous deficiencies on film?  A Gallatin defense where tackling is optional and physicality is non-existent.

Hopefully, this team will find some fight.
On a positive note, the middle school and Freshmen teams look promising. #MGGA

Yeah, I’m slowly seeing that this staff is not as advertised.  The team has no identity on either side of the ball.

thegreatone36 hit the nail on the head.....I don’t know who to blame for this disaster that has taken place but it looks like the old coaching staff is calling plays. The play calling is horrible they only run the ball to one side all night and the QB needs to learn how to throw the ball away instead of trying to make plays that go nowhere. The defense is another story that I could write for days about....they need to learn how to tackle instead of trying to make the big hit every time.

How’s the 2 Freshman running backs from Gallatin doing so far?

    • So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?
    • Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.
    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
    • Lieutenant Flip flops is on a roll. #1 recruiter in Anderson Co, fo-sho.
