Game Day!!!  Everyone traveling be safe today!!  Should be a great night for high school football!  Just wish both fanbases could be at full capacity but everything I have heard it’s a sellout with multiple people still hoping to get tickets somehow this morning.

Go Green Wave and beat the Patriots!!

HC will have no problem this week because I am the YANKER!!!!!!!  This game looks to be closer on paper than it will be on the field.......this YANKER knows all !!!!!!!   The score may surprise a few of you but have trust in your YANKER.......HC 35 - Gallatin 7!!!!   I AM THE WORLD'S ONLY LIVING YANKER!!!!!!!

Quite possible.

Some Henry County fans are really Expecting a 28 point plus loss?? Not sure about that.

Mmm...I’m not so sure they are far off MJGOLDENBEARS.  Trust me, as a football alum from Gallatin, it pains me to be honest about this years team.  The film, unfortunately doesn’t lie.

From what I have seen, I have to agree. I anticipated this team would be much better than they appear to be. If they don't start putting it together, they could very realistically end up 4-6.

errs I’m not sure there is a band-aid big enough.  I honestly do not see the fundamentals or consistent execution in place; which should be there for any good team this late in the season.  It’s an opportunity for Watson and his staff to prove their metal.  Up to this point...(inset comment here).

Unfortunately, I agree. I hate to see it after the expectations coming into the season.

    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
    • Gunner Warren was the second starter, freshman. SP #1 arm impressed me last night.
