Shut the front door on this thread! It's Friday, in October, in the South - young men are waking up - already thinking about tonight's game. A little nervous at breakfast while Mom's telling them to eat. Pulling on that jersey they earned - heading out the door toward tonight.

It’s also worth remarking that 7 years ago Meigs was in a battle with Cannon County to see who wouldn’t finish the season winless. 7 years later here we are, 2 regular season losses in 5 years and playing for our 4th consecutive district title. I know South Pitt fans are used to that kind of success but it’s still hard to comprehend around here sometimes. 

Lets hope this game stays on the schedule the next couple of years.

This is hilarious! It’s time to move on from not getting to play the Marion game. Both teams should have bigger goals for this season. It’s a new week and time for new games. Good luck to Meigs tonight on securing a region championship. Good luck SP tonight in a inter county rivalry game. Good luck to Marion on another region win tonight.

The SP - Meigs game could be the replacement from the SP - Polk County games we had going for 6 or 7 years when Polk was in that good streak they had going when they were in 3a.

I'd personally love to play that game every year. Our game had a semifinal type feel to it. And I know were better for playing it win or lose.

It was a good one both years. No doubt about it. I watched on TV last week, but could feel the excitement. I believe both teams have a good chance to be playing the last weekend of the season.
