Was Covington missing players or did they just lose against Milan on that night

I believe Covington will end up playing Alcoa for State championship.  If Milan and Covington end up playing again , it will be must watch Football. Just glad we can talk about it really. Huge blessing we made it this far.

Both teams were at full strength. It was a thing of beauty to watch those two go at it.

From a shear numbers point of view (Next level talent) you've got to say Pearl Cohn.   Fortunately there are some tremendous Coaches with the other teams that make it interesting.   3A West representative is always hard to determine, but the team on the other side of the bracket is a foregone conclusion year in and year out.   Don't see anybody beating the Godfather again this year.

I don’t know what exactly PC has in terms of next level talent and I’m sure it’s a lot. Milan has 6 kids right now with college offers. 3 of the 6 have D1 offers. Big time players. Will probably end up with a couple more kids getting offers.

Covington doesn’t have enough of a offense to keep defenses honest. Great defense but just not enough on offense
