I am coach Diffee’s official recruiting coordinator. Next year’s crop of incoming 4 and 5 stars will be way more impressive than this one. Just asking your opinion. Do you think Diffee would have had the same success this season without the transfers? I know Milan has always had talented kids anyway. Just wondering what you think. I have been asked this before so I will say the same thing and it is my honest opinion. We got 3 transfers. All moved to Milan and met all tssaa transfer requirements. With out them I still feel like we have a good team. I think we lose to Trenton, Covington and probably one more regular season game. I personally can see a HUGE difference in the attitude, mindset and effort with this team. And none of that has to do with transfer. So I believe a 7-3 regular season. First rd of playoff win (if Memphis schools were playing. I believe they could win a second rd game and compete well for n the third and possibly pull an upset but that would be the ceiling. In all probably around 9-4. A far cry from 6-6 and with the same players. That’s my honest opinion.
District12AA
Guys in Region 7, how good is the Simpson kid? Being a Vols fan I have seen some say he is the most important in state prosxpects in wars to land however I have doubts due to the fact they don’t win more than they do. Is his supporting cast that bad? If you are a top QB in the nation I figured it would show in Ws and Ls. Would love to hear what you guys think as you have watched him the last 3 years. SG4LIFE
3 transfers from Liberty. 2 from Mississippi. 1 from Michigan. That adds up to 6. That’s a recruiting class that UT would be Proud of. You are right. I think you still beat us early in season. Milan losses to Trenton. Probably at Covington and Hardin county. 7-3. First round Playoff COVID win. then who knows in the playoffs. I never thought we would get beat by covington in the playoffs at home last year either. He is a very good high school quarterback. He is a division one quarterback prospect but I can’t see him being rated as high as he is. They have him listed at 6’2 190 pounds more like 511 170 pounds. He is fast for highschoolers he’s probably a 4.8 40yd runner. Not fast for the SEC

They have some talent that’s going to roll through in the next few years. Some parents of their youth league teams have stated many times that there is great pressure (from the powers that be) for them to hold their children back. Starting as early as the 3rd grade!!!!! If their kids show some potential of being good. Before holding them back, teach them to be kids that you can stomach to pull for. So you’re saying “the powers that be” in Martin are telling 3rd grade football parents to hold their kids back in school? Who would these “powers” be that are scouting 3rd graders? TSSAA does have an age rule to prevent these type of things.

You have to hold kids back before 6th grade or by tssaa rules they would lose their senior year because of years of eligibility.

Any truth to that, I’m not critiquing just wondering?
