I believe the first half will be close then one team pulls away late in the 3rd.  I’m gonna give this one to coaches, and I believe that Ryan man is a better 2nd half coach than that Henry man.

Well here we go.Greenback travels to the Region 2 Paper Champions Coalfield YELLOWjackets. Paper says Coalfield is the 1A darkhorse!

Greenback has overtaken them in the transfer thing lately, just bigger and more talented schools around them. Its not really even close nowadays.

Boot, you probably don’t know the kids back story but it is a very bad situation. Kid had no choice about the move. I’d investigate before pulling at that thread. Kids had a rough hand dealt to him, his wasn’t a football move. 

Vanwitzenburg has lived in Back Valley his whole life.   Don't be stupid. There is alot of German names in Morgan County.  Hitler ran them off.

We are young this year. But far as standouts, I'd say the senior Seth Lowe and junior Landin Lowe in the backfield are two main standouts for us.  But we have alot good younger players.  It's a shame Coach Henry's boy got hurt early in the season.   I'd loved to seen him get a little action.

Well do you know either kids status.  Playing nice gets you sent home anyways, you know that.  Only team in the region that was Covid was Greenback

Lol and your Henry brand of dirty football will get you sent home also. You’ll soon know that. Hid and dodged games all year. The coalfield way to victory :roflol: well can’t dodge this beating coming this week.

      Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.

      Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
