The coach said they got the phone call about a positive Covid player on the way to Kingsport. Yet there was a player that didn't travel with the team but came with his parents to the game with a letter in hand stating that he tested negative after testing positive. This doesn't jive. Either he got that letter somewhere on his way to Kingsport or there's more than one player in question here. Somebody's not telling the truth.

He probably got a quick test done and got a negative result letter. He came to game with parents. Has nothing to do with the team or school.

The other test was probably given Tuesday and returned Friday. The quick test was probably done Friday. You can be positive on Tuesday and negative on Friday. Rapid tests come back in 15 minutes. Still wasn't the team's fault.

So you're saying he got all this done while the McMinn team was on the road to Kingsport? The coach said they got the word of a positive Covid case on their way to Kingsport. Don't ad up.

The result from the test done on Tuesday was the phone call coach got on the way to game.

Parents probably took kid to get rapid test done in 15 minutes that morning. Rapid test came back negative.

It literally adds up lol The kid still has to be released by the state though. Him and his Parents should not have been at the game. Still doesn't effect the gameplay though

So what is any team to do when they get the same call opposing coach gets  an hour before the game that opposing team has a member of their team test positive with Covid? Should they just say no problem and risk getting their team sick? I find it hard to believe any team, including Mcminn County, would say don't worry about and let's just play.. especially in the playoffs

Happens all year without opposing teams knowing anything. Our first game against McMinn, we had 8 kids out. We contact traced and set the players out. McMinn wasn't notified..Its been done this way all season. Bo said the kid hasnt been around the team and his team was clear. It's been coach/teacher word all year.

Thanks for that but in this case It was found out right before the game.. so stop making excuses for what has happened earlier in year and try to answer my question

That's the only timeline that works to have a positive and negative result on the same day. It still doesn't matter when he tested. He's been away from the team and school since Tuesday.

BUT that's just speculating on your part, you can't say it LITERALLY adds up if you don't know for sure about the information that we "supposedly" have
