Actually, Yellow Jackets are part of the “Vespidae” family. Bees are the “Apidae” family. We are no relation. We are serious about our entomology in TC.

I think this will be a great game.  I believe it will be a quick game.  I believe if either team scores 27 they win. I see this as a 17-14 type game. Maybe  a 24-21 type game if there's enough time.

I appreciate it man. Got a feeling there will be another great battle take place tonight. Seems to be the normal for our teams the last few years. If 3 points separated us this evening, It wouldn't surprise me.

I sure hope your right. And I think we have the ability. Pretty sure for us it will be determined on how we spread the ball around. If we run only it will be a tight game all evening. If we try to spread them out and get in some easier runs I like our chances more. Hope you guys have an injury free game pirate Tom. Know you are gonna roll, just hope you roll away healthy along with everyone else.

We need to be ready at the opening kickoff and not let them hang around . Hope to see ya in Cookeville

This shapes up to be a classic. It’s at Trousdale which is a huge advantage but that Meigs County bunch has no backup in them.  Both teams are great programs. Both teams are well coached.  

With the tragedies that occurred in Meigs the communities have rallied around the town and the team.  Meigs is  a very talented team on all levels. Both sides of the ball. Good leadership on both sides of the ball from what I have seen  and the team seems like they got closer and bonded well. They Believe in each other and the coaches.

With all things measured, I’m picking Meigs to play lockdown football from start to finish and eek out a narrow 21-17 win and go to State.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.

      several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
