shockernation
Who knows...again! If LC plays like last night then book your rooms! Tale of two teams....but finally seem to be putting it all together! Perfect time to get hot! 4 straight years playing after thanksgiving is quite a feat!
mrbigster
From reading the Fayetteville- Moore Co threads Fayetteville looked to have the better talent with Moore Co looking to have a better passing attack.Should be a great game. In the game I watched them play they pounded the rock. Both teams look to be fast so that will be negated somewhat. Just happy for the young Falcons on a 4th straight semifinals appearance. Not bad for a school with 210 students. We can do either. We have several good backs and the QB has been lighting it up the last couple weeks so it could go either way. What does Lake Co do? They will mix it up as well.Good running backs.Probably will play 2 backd.3 or 4 receivers that can catch the ball with speed. mrbigster
Agree with 68.Last night we saw what a young team can do.Win or lose Friday night,to lose as many seniors from last years title team and be within one game of returning is a great feat.Young team with talent.Very good sophomore running back.A freshman qb that would start at most schools.Middle school was very good, losing a close game to Northview,a much bigger school that won the state. So a bright future. GaelTider
I am pumped to be able to call this game for Fayetteville! In the 2 years I have been doing the play-by-play, I see Lake County mentioned a lot here on the board, so it is an honor to get this far and play a storied tradition in 1-A! It'll be a long trip, but a beautiful area to go and see a football game, and both fan bases seem to be friendly, classy people. May the best team win this Friday! Question - does anybody know if the press box at LC is large enough to accomodate visiting teams radio crew (2 men)? Thanks in advance! Go Tigers! Not sure cause Lake Co wilk have their radio announcers there I believe as well as Thunderbolt radio station Paul Tinkle , that covers Lake Co when their arent teams from their area still in the playoffs. piratetom
This will be a great game. Lake County’s experience late in the playoffs or Fayetteville’s excitement about being there? I’ve been picking the Tigers all year so no need changing now.
RedStateReject
Probably not, as previously mentioned. West Carroll radio crew had to set up in the visitor bleachers.

Hope you enjoy your trip and a safe one.Lake Co does have a rich tradition but pretty young this year losing so much. But last night I saw what they are capable of.If I'm not mistaken the Lake Co team last year won the state, beat West Carroll twice last year and by a similar score. And if not mistaken,West Carroll had most everyone back except maybe a running back but not 100 percent sure .So liked what I saw last night against a bigger physical veteran team. Press box is small with no room. 101.3, falconsportsradio.com, and other game staff take up all the room.
