After watching Fayetteville several times...I will give you my truck if they hold SP to 17 pts.

You owe me a truck.  Don’t try to get cute and say they held us to 14 not 17.  Everyone on here knows what you meant.  My truck is down and out right now so this is Christmas early for me.  Don’t hide.  Cmon everyone help me out.

I’m a little behind so maybe someone could help me out. Was Grider leaving in January? Reading the posts on here that’s what it sounds like.

From a very close source and friend of Grider's, I was told he was planning to leave after this season. However, he may have assumed he was going to win State and go out with another championship.

Fayetteville would have given Lake County their biggest test last season. It's why the TSSAA ruling was garbage and the people in the know were so upset.

Wrong. This years LC team just had a couple plays that cost them this year against Fayetteville and this years LC team wasnt close to last years team.Would been about 40 to nothing this year LC vs last year LC.You need to give up smoking.Fayetteville wouldnt have run the ball on last years team

Congratulations SP on a good season.

Heard theys a heep of athletic boys headed to “A school” in Hamilton County . Of course y’all already know that.
Good thing is you got 6 months to get them rentals painted and ready.

You know I ain’t joking either!

McCallie seem the only school in Hamilton county that can get to state chip on ship game lately.

He should leave and coach middle school ball....he might be able to manage a game at that level

I, for one, will admit that I was dreadfully wrong.

We played both teams, and I was convinced SP would have a cakewalk. I still think SP had the better athletes, but SP got outcoached in a bad way. City's players were regularly in the position to make plays.

Also, it shows what happens when one team wants it more than the other, no matter the talent disparity.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
