This!

BC, most of these guys have no clue. We may have had our differences before, but you know where I'm coming from and I'm sticking with what I said. Most educated folks (coaches included) agree with me, their depth would be a factor no doubt Buckles makes a big difference.

Great job by Oakland on finishing a great season.  I can see how Brentwood made it that far with all their good athletes.  They appeared to be bigger and just as strong as Oakland.  The difference to me seemed to be speed and fundamentals which you wont win the east without.  Congrats to Creasy on calling a good game working in the passing game.   Defense hustles and doesn't give up alot of big plays.   Go Patriots!!

P.S.  Can REBELRON show us 6A Final graphic with gold and silver update

You're absolutely right. It's about matchups.

QB play and great oline play came on strong at the end of the season to help the Alcoa Offense. The Defense played great all season.

BTW......Alcoa's #99 personal foul in the Milan game....after him having huge game.....he just let the players that he just went up and caught the ball in triple coverage against know by leaning in real close.....and telling them Alabama Sucks!  :roflolk: (Milan's Mr football) But, using different words! Ha! :lol:Well worth the 15 yards!!!:thumb:

It is apparent that someone has not ever played football.  Matchups are very important, however, you are missing a very important point.  Alcoa has great talent, that being first stringers.  During an entire game, depth will show up if all things are equal.

Cry in your spilt milk loser.  You will be pouting at home next year when a team from Rutherford County kicks that tail

We'll see, history proves otherwise. Congrats again though to my Patriot buddies on the well deserved win.

That's Red Rebels that does that.

    • Y’all boys can’t spell discipline. Probably lead the state in personal fouls last year. Being halfway disciplined in 1 game against Smith County in 3rd round doesn’t dismiss the rest of the season. “Shoulda” won the state championship but those mouths got the best of you yet again. Marion already had a lot more retuning than y’all this year. Adding these 2 D1 kids will 100% make a major impact. Marion will stand on business this year. They haven’t forgotten. I’m just keeping it real
    • MC upgraded with 2 studs. If they can’t get it done this year with a generational speed talent in Pickett then I’m not sure they ever will. Huge favorite in the East currently.    Multiple offers from FCS calls for gold.
    • no they will be tough for sure
    • Marion just jumped ER as the favorites in the East. Two big time transfers for y’all kinfolks. Bullseye has been set now. I said it the last two years it is time and both times y’all let me down. Can’t say you’re short on talent this year or that you’re young. Time to put up or shut up. Surely y’all can get over the hump this year. I’m just keeping it real
    • Should have won by 30 last year if we played discipline at the very least. May have got 2 dogs up front but remember we have the best DL in the state on our team. Also added a 6’6” 320lb O lineman.
