We were scheduled to play them. Would have been a massacre, but would have loved to see that type of talent inside Raider Arena.

I've posted most of this before...I taught with the girls coach Keisha Hunt at Woodmore Elementary. She taught fifth grade and I taught second and third grades. She would go over to Hamilton Height after school to coach.

I got to know Coach Hunt when one day a young girl I didn't recognize was shooting hoops in the old Woodmore gym. I started to shoot with her until Coach Hunt came in to get her and leave. She told me her name was Treasure. I almost died laughing--- Treasure Hunt! I then asked her if she had another kid named Easter Egg Hunt. I don't think she liked the question.

Soon after I gave Coach Hunt a copy of Hall of Fame Coach Jill Pruden's book. She then began to add Oak Ridge plays to her playbook. That was very cool!

Afrer several years, Coach Hunt went to East Brainerd Elem.to teach and we lost contact. Her daughter Treasure is currently at Kentucky having been named a Five Star recruit.

HAM Heights uses overseas trips to spread Christianity and if they run across a 6'11" basketball player that kid might end up in Chattanooga. Most people call that recruiting. I call it gifts from God.

Another Chip for the Cats.Its always fun smacking Clinton around but even better when they think they are gonna win.Cant believe the one Clinton transfer thought he was better than S.Shanklin.Shanklin playing like he can takes Oak Ridge up another level.Good to see K.Slater show what he can do in the 2nd half.RWR

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
