When will the state rankings come out ? And who do you guys see in the top 10 (a-aaa)?

I agree Houston and Arlington should be at the top.  Who would be out of Middle TN AAA?  I know Siegel should be up there.  As for East TN right now in AAA, I would say Dobyns-Bennett, Oak Ridge, and Bearden from what I have seen so far.

Someone needs to investigate Houston because there is no way these “new recruits” are legal IMO.

I agree.  Too many division 1 recruits that just happened to enroll at Houston High this year.  If t$$AA allows this team to move forward there is no reason to even have the AAA tournament.

Yes that needs to be looked at too.  The kid went to Arlington to play since Nashville schools are not currently playing.  I get it, but was there a legit move 3 hours away to Arlington. I doubt it.  What made the family choose Arlington?  IMO this does not sound or feel right.  More than likely, recruiting was involved.  Do you think he made that move to not play?  He knew he would be playing.

To answer the original question about rankings, the first AP poll will be released Monday. Everyone may begin criticism of us at that time. All rankings are criticized and everyone has an opinion. No, we can't see teams all across the state, even under normal conditions few people do. But the voters represent all parts of the state and share information with each other. It is as accurate as the information that's shared. When you compare final rankings to who makes the final 8 it stands up pretty well. Glad we have a season at all to disagree about.

I’m sorry but who cares?  We’re getting to play. It’ll all get settled in the end. Who’s number whatever now doesn’t mean anything come tourney time. Hopefully we’ll have tourneys. That’s all that matters.
