One thing I noticed about the show was when you mentioned Greenback you mentioned Bubba Jeffrey's as part of that team. Unless I'm misinformed he moved to Alcoa after playing in Greenbacks first game and has played there ever since. O&B may be able to correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm sure your right, Yeti.   If you listen closely, you'll probably hear more mistakes.    I combine information I had heading into last season with looking over every teams HUDL account.   I don't send out surveys to every school like Donovan and Murphy do, so I'll definitely make more mistakes.   Appreciate you keeping me straight.

Huntingdon right out the gate should be a good measuring stick.

I believe your right, Jessie with 5 star prep was discussing just the other day how many division I offers him and some other lineman from Alcoa have gotten. I believe they both have scholarship offers from Virginia Tech.   He seemed to think that it's just a matter of time before Tennessee gives him an offer.  I believe he will be a junior this year if I'm not mistaking.

    • I coach 3 sports in HS and can tell you that basketball is NOT the most time consuming. I'm not saying it doesn't take a lot of time but between basketball, baseball and football it isn't the most time consuming.
    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
