Yes sir! Took some time off. Been busy with work. Im ready to get back into the swing of things. I'm very optimistic about this season. Of course there is some really tough opponents on the schedule but all I see is opportunity. Week 1 is an opportunity to shock most of the state. We know what their capable of. We know who they are. I can't wait to see an absolute dog fight on August 20th. Hopefully by then we have the new turf, 100% capacity im assuming, there is no reason why on August 20th that Patriot Stadium isn't the Patriot Stadium of old with standing room only! I look for the biggest loudest crowd we have experienced in years!!!

As far as the field, im somewhat concerned myself. Just from what I have researched and seen on YouTube of time lapse videos of turf installation, once they start the laying of the turf and all that it seems to take around 3 or 4 weeks just for that. At least thats what I have been seeing. My hope is that once the dirt work portion is complete that the turf installers can jump on it and get right to work. Not sure.

I went ahead and posted the offers of these 3 kids on here so it would be easier for some of you that may not have social media.

Oakland and several other midstate schools have come close to the deadline and ended up being fine. HC will get it done

Thats the goal. I did drive by the other day and seem like they may be making a little more progress now. Its probably just the anticipation lol

I expect we will see many more offers come in before they are done at HC.  Also this is an opportunity for other kids to show their skills while these 3 players are being recruited. Might catch someones eye.

Oh yeah there is definitely others on the team I expect to pick up some offers. Im just so happy for these young men. Hard work really does pay off. You give this group of coaches what will be a 3 year starter at QB, and a talent like Ryan Damron who can absolutely sling the rock, along side a heavily recruited 4 star offensive lineman in Luke Brown who will probably have offers from nearly every big time college program by the time he is done. Then on top of that a very skilled 3 star RB in Zamariyon Kendall who is a very special talent that I expect to start getting recruited pretty heavy after this season. Not to mention another skill player that I believe is just about to blow up in Caden Marshall. My point is, you give this group of coaches players like that, along with all the other very good assets, and I just love our chances. Of course it all takes hard work and dedication, and of course there will be adversity but it would be hard to bet against good ole Henry County.

Anyone know where I can pick up the Murphy Fair book in Paris, it's usually at Twice Daily, been there a couple times and they didn't have it...
