Anyone know White County shootin percentage, Like maybe 15 percent?(being generous )Anyways for that game to go to overtime, I know it goes down as a "W" for the Cavs ,but undisciplined shots etc killed Cookeville from slamming the door.. anyways Sparta goin forward prepare for match up zones and zone defenses, until they can prove differently.

Definitely let them back In game with bad/forced shots.  I think the FG% was WC 37% and Cavs 38%.   Big stat for WC was 0-13 3PT.

I can see that.  I really like both of those players.   Two of the top players in the district IMO.  But it drops off alot after that.

They have another girl Cobb that can do some things. As long as they play good defense and play smart they will be very competitive.

This may be the worst team Macon has ever had. Coach White has a rough year or 2 coming up after all those talented teams he had. Macon has 9 freshmen that actually look like Freshman.

In their defense, that was by far the worst they’ve looked all year. I don’t know what they did or are on the way down there but they need to do something different, lol. Last 2 games have been a struggle after playing Clay close for 4 quarters.

Yes with out a doubt it is. Some quit and some hurt that would help a lot but still would'nt be very good.

Macon will be back in a couple of years i promise it's coming but untill then it's going to be rough and Macon is starting 5 freshman.

IT WAS ABOUT TIME THOUGH! Macon will be tons better in a couple of years but the these next two are gonna be very rough.

I think they'll be more competitive next year. Doesn't mean they will win a lot but will show progress. The freshman class has some talent and this year will only make them better for the future.

Macon had some really decent players but they are very small.

It is my understanding the 7th grade team is really talented.

    • I agree with the Farragut and Bradley claim. Those will both be wins. Bearden like you say is depending on when you get them in comparison to when the wheels fall off.  As far as West goes I’m 50-50. They have been able to reload so far so until they show me they haven’t I can’t count them out.
    • during the 2nd round of the playoffs last year against Milan, Gray partially tore his meniscus. He had a minor repair around Thanksgiving. Recovery time was minimal and he has been full force for baseball this season.
    • What do ya’ll think the O/U will be? I would set the line at 2.5
    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
