Read some great things about our players in the paper this week how our seniors has stepped up this week to lead these young players. They came to work without their head down ready to go and I appreciate that.I was a tough loss last week hopefully we can make it respectable tonight and play with intensity.GO CHEROKEES!

Hate to hear you can’t make it but here is a link to the live video. Our local sports guy has launched a new sports network this year. They will also be a live pregame show as well that you can watch. It will also be live on the Independent Herald Facebook page. It will all go live at 6:30

Thank you, much appreciated. Hate I’m gonna miss being there, but at least I can watch it now.

I believe we will see a different Oneida team tonight vs last week. Do I see a 4or 5 TD win? I am not sure cause you can throw everything out the window when these 2 teams play. I don’t believe this game will define Oneida as a contender or a pretender but I believe they can show people they can be a force to be reckoned with all season long.

Agree,you can't take any one game and define a team, it takes a season, thats the reason these computers get so accurate at the end of the season. They know exactly who you are by then.

We do not consider ourselves contenders. If you’ll check back we’re not even sure we can compete for our region. It’s possible but far to many unknowns about the new HC and new DC. Nobody knows what we are yet honestly.

Looks like its gonna be a chore just to win the region. Its gonna be really fun watching it unfold.

      Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.

      Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.

      I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
