You know I’m die hard SP supporter.  I got a message telling me differently from another supporter.  Y’all have blown up too quickly.  No one wants to lose.  Since when can we not talk about football where we know the opponent is going to be tough??  Geno you used to be the most negative person on here but now that your good friend Coach Jones is here you have changed for the better.  I find it hard to believe that a little negative post on coacht messed with a players head to the point of doubt.  And it was only 1-2 people talking about it.  I mean REALLY??  I’m not arguing with you Geno and I’m not arguing with the guy that messaged me.  I’m with y’all.  I believe we can win IF we execute near perfect.  How does me saying that make me a non-supporter??  I’ve been going to the SP games since I was old enough probably 5 or 6 years  old.  But I’m a non-supporter now all because I post “1-1”, meaning we might lose this game.  There’s always a chance we will lose.  The coaches and the kids know this.  This is what should fuel them to play harder and smarter!  Trust the coaches and follow their direction.  Geeszh!  Settle down in here folks.

I agree brother. It’s a shame someone would message you and claim you are a non-supporter now because you speak the truth. In other years we were heavily criticized for believing our team could mercy rule most teams. Now we get crucified for “keeping it real” and pointing out things we must improve upon to beat a much better team than SC was. Like you said , there’s not too many fans than have been more faithful to our team than you and I and a few others. And if anyone has an issue with what is said on any of our posts, you know who we are. Let’s talk about…

Geno we understand Jones has a great resume. No one is doubting we can at least compete for the east and play for a championship this year. Reality is though it takes talent to win championships not matter how great the coaching is. This team has the talent to win every game on the schedule this year with the exception of Oakland( they are on another level). Having faith in our team is a great thing for fans, coaches and players, but lets not lose sight of reality. Another thing maybe the better team won in those big games tough to hear but maybe true. Give credit where's it due.

I was negative towards Vic. Never liked him. Even in School he acted like he was better than everyone else. I never thought he was a good Coach. I still believe Talent carried Him.  If you add the Wins from the weaker Teams he played His resume isnt that good. In Big Games he got out Coached 70% of the Time. I am a Coach Jones Fan. He and I go way back. Played on Teams together . road Motorcycles together and now I'm watching so much negativity for Him without even given a chance. Even from family members. But the first thing I seen you say was ( 1-1 ) nothing else. Where was the If's? If we play better if we Center better... I agree we need to improve but ive seen worse in the first Game and we play for the Championship in Dec. We as Fans are gonna have to realize playing Cupcakes is over. We may or may NOT lose 3 Games in the season. That only makes us tougher in Dec. More than ever imo...  But back to your comment Cuz. I don't ever remember saying we would lose before a Game. I absolutely would say " if " we didn't improve we COULD lose .... But I know where your Heart is at the end of the Day..

I believe we all do.  I agree especially about the conditioning part.  Someone told me that East Hamilton coach told him in the scrimmage that he didn’t know what we were doing down here at SP but our guys NEVER got tired.  I don’t want to jinx it but so far I’ve only seen 1 cramping for us.  People don’t know this yet but on defense we only start maybe 4 seniors.  Most are sophomores.  I believe I counted 8 or so sophomores playing at one time on defense, and probably half of that on offense.  That’s why our JV beat Sequatchie last night I believe it was 45-8.  Go Pirates!  #PFL #AllGasNoBrakes
