Game day!  Looking forward to this game. Hope all the Greeneville faithful have a safe trip to and from the game. Praying all players stay health and for an injury free game. So here’s the three things that concern me the most about this game……

1). Gudger running the football

2). Gudger catching the football

3). Gudger with the football period!

Really enjoy watching this young man play. He makes plays and can swing the mo in a hurry. I know the Devils have more weapons on the field than him, but that kid is special. Good luck to all and safe travels. See you all at the game.

GREENE - Boone has Elizabethton next week so please soften them up for us.     If you are ahead by 20 in the 4th quarter then keep the starters in, don't let up until the final horn sounds.       We are 2-33 against Elizabethton and have been outscored 1089 to 385.      So come on GREENE'ies, give a brother a break, huh??   (hhe-heh_

Who is Boone running into the ground this season? It was the Cole kid, then the Blair kid. So who is this seasons 40 plus touches and plays both sides of the ball guy?

Good point Mr. Morton. I have never ever understood that concept at Boone. Actually not really productive or safe.

Literally none of the fans understand it either, it's something we automatically start complaining about before the season even begins.... I guess it's just the Boone way....

Looked like the typical Blazers against a poorly coached South Greene squad couple wks ago

Is there anyone in East Tennessee with anything for Assassins in Greene this season?

Morristown West is a joke now

What's the name of that big school in Kingsport again?

Look forward to humiliating Oak Ridge. We aint seen them since Mud Turtle was in the backfield.

    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
    • He was pretty darn good for a freshman, but he will have a hard time seeing the field at Oakland for a good while, I’m afraid.
    • Dang I feel bad for the kid. I’m sure he loves his dad and wants to do anything for his dad but I don’t think he realizes his dad isn’t doing the best for his football career if he keeps jumping schools.
    • I’m not taking shots at the kid, but “athlete” is not something I would use to describe him. He was a long, lengthy, defensive back
    • Mistakes like that should never happen.
