It was a high school football game. They're all little boys. I assume you guys calling 5 out are adults. Way to represent your community.

Agreed.  I usually just choose to stop reading when someone calls out kids - in a negative way.  We have a "fan" at our games who is constantly calling out kids, while in the stands.  My skin has hardened to him over the years, but sometimes I just have to walk away, even when it is not my kid he is yelling at.  Those boys have parents, grandparents, etc. in the stands and usually are VERY aware of how their kid may have screwed up, or cost their team points, etc.  No need to be calling out their numbers in a public forum, unless that kid actually belongs to you.  100% my opinion, and I am fine with others who disagree! :)

I thought I know who you were talking about until I saw the "him" lol. There's also a very outspoken "her" that is a tough critic too. Lmao. She might have moved on by now though. I'm usually on the hill at home games nowadays.

Tho I would actually put it the way he did but I don’t really see anything wrong with what he said. Stop being a wus man or manette!

He's a grown man talking about a teenage boy on a high school football forum. I haven't spent much time in Waverly but in most places that's considered low class and trash.

Apparently Waverly hasn't cleaned up all of the trash since the flood

I’m not trying to dog the kid as a person. I’m just telling you how I seen it during the game. He got pushed all over the field. Maybe he’s had better games and was just having a bad game, but he got pushed up and down that field by numerous players. Simple as that.

Perhaps it’s time to move along to this weeks game and put last Friday to rest.

Yes, I think that kid graduated.  I will wave from the stands Friday night! LOL!  And don't get me wrong, I am as bad as ANY some games, but I am not going to call out other peoples kids, unless I have their permission!  LOL

    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
    • Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
