Watertown was better tonight. I suppose some will say it’s because of fall break, injuries, starters not playing in this long or that long. Just got beat. Hats off to Watertown.

Great post… Way to man up!!!

Good luck to your kids the rest of the way!

You don't get out of shape in 2 weeks! Come on guys

I totally agree.  But, I have to admit, lack of game planning, schemes, on the field reps probably did hurt TC.  I was walking back to my car, which was 40 mins away, lol.  I was thinking about what excuses the TC faithful were going to come up with. Man alive, alot of crow from A LOT of TC fans.    Well, I figured the QB being hurt (and in NO WAY am I calling out or making fun of a player getting injured)  so dont even try to use that mess. Other than that there was absolutly no excuses.  But wait!  TC faithful are pretty productive with what is the best arguable excuse that could ever be used.   Makes sense, and leaves doubt.  Must be a very political town.  LOL

By the way, was TC healthy other than the QB being out?  Thought I would go ahead and open the door to this one to.  Left it off my earlier post.

Congrats to Watertown. Four consecutive regular season wins over Trousdale is a great accomplishment. Trousdale will have their work cut out for them to make it to a rematch with Watertown this year, but winning at Meigs would not be impossible. That being said, Watertown will have a battle in round two with Marion County as well.

True, but if I were a betting man I would bet our coaches are not sleeping on Bledsoe. I know I’m not!

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
