Definitely will not be a repeat from 2019. HC is back and rolled big time against Portland. HC wins 49-7! These young men are ready to make a run and will FIRED up to demolish DC on Friday night. 100 points in two games, this Offense will score at will and the Defense will be ready and prepared to shut DC down at all costs. Roll Red Roll baby!!!!!!

Sure seems odd that suddenly the offense gets going after changes were made in the play calling duties. We may have waited a little too long to do this but at least it is better now.

My thoughts exactly. Funny the very week we made changes the offense has been explosive ever since. Let's keep it rolling!!!!

I 100% believe the same thing as you. DC will have the bubble guts when they get back on the field with HC. I bet they all felt a little sadness when the ended up with Henry County round one. Their coaches to. We still have a statement to make. Believe it and Roll Red Roll!!

Just by looking at records/ppg’s alone. DC and HC both look pretty evenly matched. Don’t get me wrong HC has played a lot tougher schedule than DC has. Both have some good wins and some head scratching moments though. I haven’t kept up with HC near as much since DC got moved to region 8 but I expect a good one Friday night. Good luck to both teams. Too early in the week for me to make a prediction.

DC- Scoring approx 39ppg and giving up approx 25ppg.
Headscratcher: Dyersburg game.

HC- Scoring approx 26ppg and giving up approx 18ppg
Headscratcher: Giving up 40pts to a 3-7 Northeast team.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
