I stated multiple times that I thought Halls outplayed Boone every way except the scoreboard.     Everyone in my section of the bleachers said the same thing.   But our kids made the plays when we had to and hopefully we can do something against what I know is a very good Central team.    Boone has only won 2 2nd round games in 50 years so we know the challenge this presents.     I just hope we can cross the 50 before halftime...

Boone has one of the top HC in East Tennessee. I never underestimate him. He has a way of taking a possibly less talented team and smacking ya in the mouth.

The two big linemen for DB that rotate in and out, how tall are they? Looked huge on film....and sort of unmovable for Halls.

Not sure, overall Boone does not have a lot of height.      I've been thinking about this game, the only way we even have a chance against Central is to get some first downs.    Don't have to score on every drive but if it is nothing but 3 and outs eventually our defense won't be able to hold them back.    That has  been the problem all year so hopefully the coaching staff can spot somewhere in Central's defense to exploit.

Central might be looking ahead to a rematch in the 3rd round with West…. With that being said, I am going to take Dan……..

 

yeah, no way Central let’s this one get away from them. Craney and company will have the Bobcats ready to strike!

I expect an upset. DB is as physical a bunch as you can find. Bobkitties won't be able to match it. They don't want to have to play West again.

Fox, ever heard the phrase "speed kills"? Physicality is good, but I'll take speed and athleticism any day.

You guys are both right.    Football is not a track meet, neither is is weight lifting contest nor a wrestling match.       It takes all of those things in the right combination.     Plus good coaching.     And making sure everybody has it together between the ears.

I have watched a good bit of video on Boone. Central's speed will overwhelm them, IMO.

I don’t see that happening! That was a perfect storm and everything that could go wrong, went wrong for Central.

Dunlop and Nickles both pushing 6'3 or 6'4.
