All kinds of junior high players get “offers”. They’re verbal and don’t mean anything. Can’t even officially offer any player under 16. It’s a marketing tool college recruiters use to try to get a foot in the door early. Kind of like buying a website named the same thing as an up and coming athlete in hopes they make it big and your $20 URL becomes worth a fortune (imagine owning tombrady.com when he was in high school and what it’s be worth today lol).
