Henry County at South Gibson

Hornets one week and Yellow Jackets the next. Time to make good use of those fly swatters before the weather turns colder  

In all seriousness, this is a quintessential trap game leading into Springfield week. I actually think this could be a decent game again. At least when looking at scores, both of these teams appear to be better than they were a year ago, which ended up a 10-0 slug fest at Henry County.

SG is a solid 4A team that could hang tough for a while, but in the end I see HC pulling away. Not quite as close as last year. I'll say 31-14 Henry County.

It’s only close if we make mistakes, and a lot of them. Would’ve been 35-0 last year if not for our pre week 8 offensive woes.

They will look very different from the option based offense that you saw last year. They are running spread and passing more than they ever have. Did that for the first half against us and didn’t have the athletes to match up. Dug themselves a 21-0 hole. Second half they pulled everyone in and ran it out of a jumbo set. A lot of direct snaps. They scored 3 times doing this but still came up short. Overall a good team.

"Star OC" gonna put up 40+ this Friday night! He's been putting up massive numbers on everyone except good teams..... Big. Red. Rolls. Henry finishes 8-2. Won't be close rest of the season.

Yeah I was looking at some film of them and they look pretty solid. They should keep it close until late.
