I don’t think anybody hates kids if they do they got a problem. I think people have a problem with how the TSSAA let’s things go in Memphis. No way they would let these small schools in rural areas join teams and move down a class. Be like west view and Dresden joined teams and stayed 1A but all other non football students from Westview went to Union City Greenfield etc.. TSSAA would never allow that to happen here - but they let it go in Memphis. Facts. Nothing to do with kids though

Its a pile of crap anyway you look at it, its not the kids or schools fault, Tssaa just runs a poor organization.  People and schools cheat and use lose loop holes all over the state.  Its not like certain areas are just lucky enough to have bigger stronger athletes  basically every year. What goes on at Fayetteville is much worse than MASE, MASE is a one time thing, Fayetteville will load up every single year. If the people in charge would ever look into real rural schools, they might get the picture.

What you mean Fayetteville loads up there is no school zone the two schools are not even two miles away once u leave 8th grade u have a choice to go to county or city if u play 3 games for one and transfer u got to sit out the full year plus 3 games played and all the kids at city has played together since 2nd and 3rd grade from the past 5yrs and they made the city high school and basically segregated the school system again so there is no loading up at all smh LC is 5a FC is 1a going to 2a if city was loaded up like that Lc would be loaded up the difference is from 6 Jr highs here in the town they use to combine as one and the speed and athletes came from city and all the size came from the other schools but there is no need for 3 high schools here but that's what they wanted cause someone couldn't get on the school board so they pushed for another school so they turned a Jr high into a high school

There are 3 high schools serving that 11,000 population. Union City isn’t the only one.

5 Schools in Carter co, Elizabethton CITY school  does the cherry picking . City, Charter ,Magnet, private or Academy.  Any of this type school can load up.
