I feel for the next coach. I am not sure anyone can attract players like Dilfer did. Players were the reason LA was good last few years. Dilfer got them there but players won the games. Same with Dion Sanders, he got players there and players won the game. Eddie George does not have the charisma and ability to recruit players like DS and TD and TSU is not as great place to play football and go to school. Unless new coach can get players they will not win like they have been. Just my thought.

And will get smacked around for the next 2 years. Dilfer did all of this to that school. From the way he acted, the way he treated other TN HS programs, his absurd ego and now moving them up to DII-AA

Finally got what I’m assured the full story on Witten is from a well placed source. They agreed in principle, and were legitimately minutes from announcing the deal. Then Witten calls and backs out. Someone in the family put their foot down and didn’t want to move (was not told who). No one really to blame just unfortunate for both parties.

      The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??

      If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!

      Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
