I know what board I am on. Just another example of the eligibility snafu of boarding schools. Sorry you didn't figure that out.

OHHHH....Booger had it figured way before MM76 printed it.....and assume there is an agreement tween Booger and MM76 on the boardin eligibility that our self proclaimed brain wizzards at the T$$AA grand square table have totally jack legged up....at least partially agreement Booger thinkin...

...if they are a 100% full payer, Booger could give a rats Hillary....but if theres any assistance at ALL, they wait a year....and if the rest dont like that.....then build a roach motel out on the backside of your campus

Booger just sayin :thumb:

wouldnt use that boardin thing as a crutch excuse for losin

Recruiting is recruitin.....and if CBG talkin specific on Baylor & McCallie......nobody was complainin bout them 2 chattanooga boardin schools prior 19'.....

....Webb School & Kings Academy Board

Booger just sayin

I am not concerned about recruiting as it goes on everywhere but when the member schools of the TSSAA vote 85+ to require that athletes sit out one full academic year before becoming eligible, the Board of Control should honor that request.  If done correctly there is very little way for schools to compete against Baylor and McCallie.  Schools like St. Andrews Sewanee and Webb School have not decided to fund football like the above-mentioned schools but if they do, they will become competitive immediately.

And Webb has mopped the floor in girls basketball with its international all star teams the last few years.

Exactly and other boarding schools are doing the same thing.  I just want to know why the Board of Control would not vote like over 85% of the membership requested?

now may be the time to push the panic button on LA's season...

They'll be better off without Deuce Knight. He clearly wasn't committed to the school or the program. It's a good group of seniors. Everyone knows that they're great football players. Now they can show what kind of young men they are.

So they were cool with Mawae taking the transfer and letting him play over the projected starter even though he was not committed to the school or program while their guy watched from the sidelines?

Sounds like they have battled through some team chemistry issues.

Lots of football left!

This is the problem. Allowing public school votes to determine anything that independent schools do is backwards and ludicrous. Tennessee independent schools should completely break apart from TSSAA and form an association that serves their own specific interests. VA and NC both have private school associations, and they both have a number of boarding schools in each. There are ways to address the unique needs of independent schools without giving unnecessarily outsized influence to a group that has ZERO interest in the success of independent schools. Wake up, folks.

So if they transfer from out of state they have to sit a year or just from school to school?
