Better start working on those transfers

Don’t worry we will. We want to get several of them just like my friends at Cleveland. They had two champs that transferred there and two high placers. I just need to get on this recruiting trail. Maybe even offer up some NIL money lol

Max Titus Garrett Gavin Mason Noah Church Jimmy Dempsey and chase smalling at science hill all trained in the warehouse in the back of my business. TNWA, before that Kingsman…before that Hammer. Certainly you know all those clubs and every kid I mentioned. I’m leaving out a couple but don’t worry, I’m working on getting them back and then some. Looks to me like that’s all the champs and place winners. We have some great coaches in there now and one was a 2X NCAA All American and Runner up…..kids can jump levels in that room buddy. All they have to do is be willing to put in the work. The coaches we have up here is enticing to families to move here to bring their kids there to train. Just look at what they’ve done with those kids I mentioned. Watkins won’t be in lineup for another couple years but that will be a huge pickup…..so to answer your question just about all of them!!! Only had one transfer last year unless you know something I don’t. Don’t worry though, I’ll be working on more.

Tony and Zeke do a great job with all the kids in that club.  I have been very impressed with how well they game plan for the kids.

Tony does more with the HS instead of club now. Zeke and Cade handle club!!! All 3 are great coaches though.

145- #1 Luke Belcher (Bradley) vs #2 Mason Sells (Blackman)

The upset alarm is still ringing. I haven’t flipped on any of my predicted champs, and i’m not starting now. Belcher has been consistently at or near the top of the sport since he entered high school. And there’s a reason for that. He’s extremely talented. Another top tier wrestler in the Ben Smith machine. Sells undoubtedly has what it takes to take him out. He’s shown that he’s on that level twice this year, and twice he has come up just short. The third time is the charm, and Mason becomes the second Sells brother to beat a Bradley Bear for a state title.

Prediction: Sells by decision

the only one i missed.

thanks to everyone who interacted with these. Keeping up with everything wrestling in this state and giving people something to read and talk about is something i enjoy very much. Maybe next year i can try to put together interactive brackets for each weight that allows anyone who wants to participate to fill brackets out and have a little friendly contest!

    • Don't be mad that someone is recruiting your players. You have to recruit if you want to win in knox county much less the state. Rosser was taking other school's kids and you either turned a blind eye or was ok with it because everybody's doing it. Ya'll were good during the Helton days and were up and down until Rosser came. I would not say rich in tradition, but I would agree with having talent in the zone.
    • The size difference in these 2 teams is really big.
    • Yup, Tornadoes run pretty good in the rain.
    • You heard huh, exactly it was hearsay until it happened. I hear things all day everyday but until they happen it’s all hearsay. And it’s hard to be a “candidate” for a job until the job is actually opened, at least in the real world maybe not yours . So a program that is rich in tradition and talent since heck the 80s is supposed to “lower” its expectations right? Because nobody that is a really good Coach could possibly come in and win there right? Nobody could possibly start keeping Central talent home instead of it being poached to Powell and Bearden and private schools right? Nobody alive can do that according to you….well bad news for you bud it can be done, has been done and will be done again. Central will rise again, maybe not be in the state title game every year. But it will always be a playoff contender and a great school for football.
