Not a big coach T presence in Wilco. It's hard to predict the direction Dyson would go. They have a couple of former Head Coaches on staff. There's multiple quality coordinators in Williamson that would probably love the opportunity. Would Crouch and Woods want to go after this job since they went for the Blackman job? I think Crouch would. I think he's wanting to be a head coach in either Rutherford or Williamson.

I doubt it, too much academic baggage to deal with in Williamson and pay is not great.. there is a reason why Kriesky left.

Williamson County is a great school system and they are making efforts to improve the athletic facilities every year. I don’t know Dyson but I bet he would be a great guy to work for. Centennial is dropping down to 5A which is not as deep as 6A. I think this job will attract some good candidates that fit the kind of job it is.

So is this job a rebuild or is it a job that has culture established and just needs the right staff to take it to the next level?  Can this program get to a region championship and deep run in the playoffs in a 3 year span?  Out of the 3-4 coaches mentioned....(current coach on staff, Woods, Stewart, Crouch) who is the best fit for that school?  Thoughts????

I doubt any of the 3 mentioned would take this job. It is a good job because of location and moving down to 5A. But centennial has the worst facilities in WillCo, mainly because of when it was built. The old schools (franklin, brentwood, page) have nice stuff because it was built before the massive williamson county red tape brigade moved in. And the new schools have nice-ish stuff because they are new. Centennial was built in the early 2000s so its pretty dated and you'll be stuck with those dated facilities. There isnt any available land to build a field house or upgrade facilities and the county won't let you do it even if you could financially swing it. It would be a good job in terms of talent and classification but thats about it.

They have a strong senior class coming back, but after this upcoming year it doesn't look very good. However, you never know with transfers and what not. I would say it's a good job with Centennial going to 5a. Yes, you still have to deal with Page and Nolensville, but 5a overall is not near as strong as 6a.

Don't be surprised if Centennial is back to 6A next classification cycle. The way Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson Couny are growing, I see the same thing with Centennial classification as happened to Mt Juliet... short lived.

I don't see why Green Hill's coach would want to leave where he is at.  From what I've heard and read, they have great facilities & is a new school in a talented area.  He had a good 2nd year there but had a bump in the road losing to White Co & underachieving this year a little bit but all in all that is a good job to have for him.  Also Woods & Stewart seem to be at schools that just reload on talent each year and have made good names for themselves at these schools.  So basically taking this job would be a step back for them?  (Asking, not stating)

Because teaching & coaching in Wilson Co is a step down compared to RuCo. Blackman hasn't had the best stability, but it's still a great job and would have been a significant pay increase for Crouch. I think it'll take a pretty good job to get him away from GH for the reasons you listed.

As I've already posted on Woods and Stewart, there's no reason why they'd be interested in this job. Top assistant/ Young HC is going to be the best Centennial can do

    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
